Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 April 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wirenetlab website (wirenetlab.io) and the network tools it provides (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Wirenetlab is offered free of charge as an independent, non-commercial project. There are no paid features, no subscription tiers, no premium plan, no advertising, and no tracking. The entire Service is provided at no cost and without any commercial exploitation.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Wirenetlab you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Wirenetlab provides a free collection of client-side network utilities, including a subnet calculator, an IP converter, a password generator, a VLSM planner, a Cisco config analyzer, a config generator, an ACL simulator, and a config diff tool. All processing happens in your browser. No data you enter is transmitted to or stored by Wirenetlab. The Service is offered on a free, best-effort basis.
3. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Wirenetlab does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities, nor that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable for any specific network, device, or production use case.
The tools are intended for lab work, learning, and preliminary analysis. You must always verify critical network changes in your own controlled environment before applying them to production systems.
4. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Wirenetlab, its operator, and its contributors SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or service interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
5. User content
Wirenetlab does not host or store any content you enter into the tools. All input — running-configs, subnets, passwords, packets, diffs — is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to Wirenetlab. You remain the sole holder of any rights in the content you input, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process that content (for example, that you are entitled to paste a given Cisco configuration into the analyzer).
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- to infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of any third party;
- to attack, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any network, system, or device for which you do not have explicit written authorization;
- to reverse-engineer or circumvent technical protection measures on systems you do not own;
- to redistribute the Service, in whole or in part, under a misleading brand or affiliation claim, or in a way that suggests endorsement by Wirenetlab or by any third party whose trademarks are referenced by the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms
